Joining the Artus community is an exciting opportunity to connect, collaborate, and grow as an artist. To ensure our members share our vision and values, applications are reviewed and approved based on the following criteria:

  1. Residency or Travel: Applicants must reside in Cyprus or be able to travel to Cyprus to participate in projects and events.
  2. Educational Background: A degree in Fine Arts or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in the arts, is required.
  3. Age Requirement: You must be 18 years or older to join, as some events, like our Naked Thursdays, may involve mature content.
  4. Approval Process: Membership is subject to approval based on the information provided in your application form.

Art Base Help

Free Plan – Artist Role

Art Base is a free entry point for artists looking to join the platform. Artists must apply and be approved to gain access.

How to Join:

  1. Fill out the artist application form.
  2. Wait for admin approval (email notification will be sent).
  3. Once approved, log in to your account.
  4. Access “Dashboard” > “Settings” > Choose “Store” to set up your basic profile.

Features:

Create and manage your basic artist profile

Participate in community events and view other artists’ work

Included:

  1. Public artist profile
  2. No artworks (no uploads)
  3. Access to view open calls & community updates
  4. Option to upgrade anytime

To Upgrade:

Scroll to the bottom right of your dashboard

Click “Upgrade” or “View Plans”

Select a membership and complete checkout

Portfolio Pro Help

Paid Plan – Artist Role

Includes 7-day free trial

What’s Included:

  • Upload up to 9 artworks

  • Your portfolio is shown in the Discover Artists section

  • Appear in search results

  • Dashboard tools to track profile views and favorites

How to Get Started:

  1. Click “View Plans” from your Dashboard

  2. Select Portfolio Pro

  3. Complete payment and start uploading your artworks under Portfolio Dashboard > Manage Artworks

eShop CEO Help

Includes 14-day free trial

What’s Included:

  • Upload unlimited artworks

  • Create your own e-shop gallery

  • Your profile is featured on the homepage

  • Access full analytics: views, favorites, and artwork sales

Commission Rule:

  • Artus takes a 15% commission on artwork sale

  • Artists are responsible for packaging and shipping their sold works

How to Get Started:

  1. Click “View Plans” in your Dashboard

  2. Select eShop CEO and complete payment

  3. Start uploading your artworks and products under Manage Artworks

Approval & Notifications

The platform uses an approval system to maintain quality and consistency.

Process:

  1. Artists submit an application form
  2. Admin manually approves and sends email notifications
  3. Upon approval:
  4. You’ll receive a link to purchase the appropriate plan
  • After purchase, another email will guide you to add your artworks or products
  • You’ll receive an email once your portfolio or products are published

CRM-powered notifications keep you updated throughout your journey.

Note: Art Enthusiasts (customers) register without approval and gain instant access.


 

How the Wallet & Sales Works

 Uploading Artworks

  • Artists can create listings depending on their membership plan

  • A price is required to make a listing active

  • Listings are created under “Add Product” in your dashboard


When Someone Orders Your Artwork

  1. A buyer clicks Order Now on your listing

  2. Payment is collected upfront

  3. You’ll receive a notification to deliver the artwork


💰 How You Get Paid

  • After an order is placed, your wallet is credited (minus commission)

  • Funds appear as Pending

  • Once you deliver and the order is completed, the funds become Available

  • You can then request a payout from your wallet dashboard


Commission & Payouts

  • ArtUs takes a 15% commission on every sale

  • The artist is responsible for packaging and shipping

  • Payouts are handled manually (e.g., PayPal or bank transfer)

Views, Analytics & Featuring

We track engagement to help you grow and get recognized.

What You’ll See in Your Dashboard:

  • Portfolio/shop views
  • Favorites count
  • Product views and sales data (for eShop CEO)

Recognition Opportunities:

Artists with the most views or favorites may be featured on:

  • Homepage
  • Newsletters
  • Community updates

Platform Rules

To keep the space safe, supportive, and professional:

  1. No plagiarism or misrepresentation
  2. Art must follow Cyprus law and platform guidelines
  3. Be respectful in all community interactions
  4. No spam or unauthorized promotions
  5. All artist content (portfolios/shops/products) must go through approval
  6. Lowest Commissions on all sales 15%.

🚫 Violations may result in suspension or permanent removal.
