Artus Terms and Conditions

1. General Overview Artus is an online platform designed to showcase, promote, and sell original artworks. By creating an account, uploading content, or engaging with the platform in any way, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions. Artus is intended for individuals who are 18 years of age or older. By using this platform, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.

2. Artist Registration and Account Use

  • Artists must register with accurate and complete information.
  • Each artist is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activities under your account.

3. Content Submission and Ownership

  • All artworks uploaded must be original and sold exclusively through Artus.
  • Artists retain ownership of their work but grant Artus a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and promote the content.
  • All content (including portfolios, shops, and products) must go through approval before becoming publicly visible.

4. Commission and Payment Terms

  • Artus takes a 10% commission on each sale.
  • Artists are responsible for their own shipping, including costs, logistics, and any issues arising from the shipping process.

5. Platform Conduct and Community Guidelines To keep the space safe, supportive, and professional, the following rules apply:

  • No plagiarism or misrepresentation of artworks.
  • All content must comply with Cyprus law and Artus platform guidelines.
  • Be respectful in all community interactions.
  • No spam, trolling, or unauthorized promotions.

6. Refunds and Returns

  • Art Sales: All art sales are considered final unless otherwise agreed upon by the artist and buyer. Artus does not handle or guarantee refunds. Any issues related to returns, damages, or disputes must be resolved directly between the buyer and the artist.
  • Membership Products: Membership purchases are non-refundable once access has been granted or services have begun. Please ensure you review all benefits and terms before purchasing.
  • Event Tickets: Tickets for events (online or in-person) are non-refundable unless the event is canceled or rescheduled by Artus. In such cases, Artus will notify ticket holders with applicable refund or credit options.
  • We encourage clear communication and transparency between all parties to ensure smooth transactions and experiences.

7. Event Participation Terms For select events hosted by Artus, including life drawing or nude art sessions:

  • You must be 18 years or older to attend.
  • Use of mobile phones during the event is strictly prohibited.
  • Phones must be turned off or placed in a designated secure location for the duration of the event.
  • Any breach of these rules may result in immediate removal without refund.
  • By registering, you confirm: “I have read and agree to the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy for the event.”

8. Violations and Enforcement

  • Violations of these rules may result in suspension or permanent removal from the platform.
  • Artus reserves the right to take appropriate action without prior notice.

9. Limitation of Liability Artus is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the platform.

10. Modifications to the Terms Artus reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes.

11. Governing Law These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Cyprus.
